COMBAT HUNGER IN THE HORN OF AFRICA

Conflict, COVID, climate and environmental crises, and economic downturn have created a perfect storm, leaving between 702 and 828 million people hungry in 2021—around 60 per cent of chronically hungry people are women and girls. The World Food Programme’s Global Report on Food Crises says the number of people facing hunger has now surpassed all records. And this means families in the Horn of Africa are going without food for a day, or days at a time. Families are going to bed without eating a single meal, and children are dying from malnutrition.
A donation today means you can help us reach 27,000 families across the Horn of Africa, in countries like Kenya and Uganda.
