A true champion lives by faith, not sight

“If I can do all this and I am blind, what can you achieve?”

Saturday 19th November  7am - 9am

131 Mens ministry is hosting a once in a lifetime Mens breakfast – this is an event not to be missed!

Come join us (and bring a mate) as we welcome one of the most inspiring, courageous and incredible young men to share his story at The Grove. Professional Brazilian surfer Derek Rabelo is fearless in the ocean. He is renown throughout the world  for his big wave courage, riding life-threatening monsters at Pipeline, Jaws and Mavericks in Northern California, and most recently surfing 50 foot waves in Nazaré, Portugal. The unique characteristic of this young man, though, is that he is blind, having been born with congenital glaucoma. Derek shares his inspirational story with millions of people of all ages across the globe. His heart is to encourage us all to take the limitations off our thinking and follow the dreams and plans God has planted inside each and everyone of us.

COST $20 per head (includes breakfast)

Sunday 20th November  9:30am

On Sunday 20 November 9:30am service Derek will also be sharing the word with us. This too will be a wonderful opportunity to bring along friends, work colleagues, neighbours to hear more of Derek’s strong relentless faith and his love for God which has enabled him to achieve the miraculous.
